Last week’s linen project… a set of humble, hard working dish towels and a couple table napkins, too.

This is one of the easiest projects ever. Simply cut to your desired size – leaving room for seam allowance – and hem. I included loops on the towels, to allow us to hang them from a cabinet knob next to the sink.

This week I’m working on something from my wardrobe. This project is a mix of fun and practical. I’ll share once I’m done.

Aaaand, I’ll be back soon with a post on how I make yogurt! I have had a few requests over the last year, and have been meaning to post about it for a while.

Enjoy the weekend, friends…

looking forward to the yogurt – the towels turned out perfect.
Now, to your stove-top – are those kettles? I have not seen anything like those.

Thanks Denise! Yes, those are Pyrex Flameware kettles from around the 1940s. Well, actually, they are coffee percolators with the metal perc insert removed. For health reasons, we quit most all type of cooking in metal many years ago, so have quite a collection of vintage glass cookware.

The towels look great! I use linen for most of my products and though I find it to be tedious to cut and sew at times (or almost always!) I think the end result is the best. It is the most beautiful material!
Excited to read your post about yogurt as itโ€™s something Iโ€™ve wanted to try to make for a long time.

The linens are lovely! Could you also do a post on bread making? It looks like a bread machine on your counter : )

I love collecting and then using linen tea towels but have never made my own. I would also love to make 1/2 linen curtains. Would you be willing to share where you buy your linen?
